House rules

To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests, please familiarise yourself with our house rules.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM onwards. Your access code will be sent automatically at midday on arrival day.
  • Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Please leave the cottage tidy and secure all doors and windows.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.

Maximum Occupancy

Trillis Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. Please do not exceed this number without prior arrangement. Any additional guests must be approved in advance.

Dogs

  • Up to 2 dogs are welcome (flat £15 per stay). Have more furry friends? Let us know and we can discuss.
  • Dogs must be fully house-trained. No breed or age restrictions.
  • Dogs are welcome on the furniture; throws are provided on the sofas. Dogs are also welcome on the beds if you bring your own bedding.
  • Pick up after your dog in the garden and on walks.
  • Dogs can be left alone in the cottage as long as they're crated.
  • Please keep dogs on leads when near livestock.

Smoking

Trillis Cottage is a no-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.

Smoking is permitted in the garden. Please use the provided ashtrays and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

Noise and Considerate Behaviour

  • Please keep music down outside after 11pm.
  • No parties or events without prior written permission.

Hot Tub Rules

  • Shower before using the hot tub.
  • No glass items near the hot tub.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Replace the hot tub cover after use to maintain temperature.
  • Use at your own risk.

Waste and Recycling

Please separate your waste into the bins provided:

  • General waste
  • Recycling (glass, plastic, paper, cardboard)

By booking Trillis Cottage, you agree to abide by these house rules. We reserve the right to terminate a booking without refund if guests fail to comply with these rules or behave in a manner that is disruptive or damaging.
